Blaupunkt BPK-VCBB1XVB – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Blaupunkt BPK-VCBB1XVB is the black finish of the Bluebot XVAC. It replaces the laser turret with gyroscopic navigation and runs at up to 1,800 Pa, with mopping handled by a separate reservoir clipped to the underside rather than the XTREME’s integrated combi tank. It shares the full XVAC consumable set with its white sibling, the BPK-VCBB1XVW.

This set covers the full service scope with Plus.Parts® direct-fit alternatives to the original Blaupunkt parts: two spiral rolling brushes, a matched left-and-right side-brush pair, eight HEPA filters with foam sponges and two washable mopping cloths – 22 parts in all. The lower 1,800 Pa suction is the detail that shapes maintenance here: it draws less airflow through the filter stack each session, so the three-layer filter lasts roughly four to six weeks longer than on the 3,000 Pa XTREME at the same usage. There is no LDS dome on this gyroscopic model, so the weekly dome wipe simply does not apply – one fewer task than the laser variants.

Still rinse the gauze, sponge and HEPA together and air-dry fully before refitting; clean monthly under normal use and replace the stack every three months, since washing alone degrades the HEPA medium. Clear the spiral rolling brush end caps every one to two weeks with the supplied tool and replace the roll every six to twelve months. Replace the matched left-and-right side brushes every three to six months so wall-following stays even. Empty the optional mop reservoir after every mopping run even though it sits separately from the dust chamber, because standing water leaves mineral deposits in the outlet channel. Wash the mopping cloths at 40°C maximum, air-dry only, and clean the charging contacts and the anti-drop and anti-collision sensors with a dry cloth fortnightly.
