Dyson SV20 – Plus.Parts® Washable HEPA Filter

The Dyson SV20 is the Dyson V12 Detect Slim cordless vacuum, a lightweight stick vacuum built around Dyson’s Hyperdymium motor running at 125,000 rpm, producing 150 AW of suction in a machine weighing approximately 1.75 kg. The V12 Detect Slim uses whole-machine HEPA filtration, sealing the entire machine so that all exhaust air must pass through the HEPA filter at the exit point of the airpath before returning to the room. The SV20 incorporates an acoustic piezo sensor on the motorised head that counts dust particles and displays a real-time dust level reading on the machine’s LCD screen. The HEPA filter at the exhaust end is the final barrier in the filtration system; a filter that is heavily loaded or past its service point restricts the machine’s airflow and reduces the suction the motor can deliver. The V12 Detect Slim washable HEPA filter should be rinsed under cold tap water only, never hot water or detergent, and allowed to air-dry for a minimum of 24 hours before reinstallation.
