The Dyson SV29 is a later variant in Dyson’s Outsize family, carrying the same platform fundamentals as the broader Outsize range: the larger dustbin designed for bigger homes, the wide cleaning head, and the high-velocity V11 digital motor driving air through a HEPA filter at the exhaust. As a newer variant, the SV29 uses the same filter housing as the wider Outsize series, which means the same filter maintenance schedule applies: wash the filter under cold water monthly to clear surface-loaded dust, allow a minimum of 24 hours of drying before reinserting, and replace the filter annually when washing no longer fully restores airflow. At the suction output this platform produces, the difference between a fresh filter and a spent one is measurable at the cleaning head.
This washable filter set of three covers the annual replacement and provides extras for the wash rotation.
