The auto-empty process works by pulling debris from the robot’s bin through a suction channel into a sealed bag housed in the dock after each cleaning run. The combination of high suction and dual-disc mopping drives a significant volume of fine dust and particulate through the system per session, resulting in a predictable bag fill rate. In regular daily household use, the bag typically fills every four to six weeks, with the Ecovacs app sending an alert when replacement is needed. The old bag seals automatically on removal, keeping debris contained throughout the changeover.
