The auto-empty function drives collected debris from the robot’s dustbin through a suction channel into a sealed dust bag in the dock. Each bag holds the equivalent of several full dustbins before it reaches capacity, meaning most households go four to eight weeks between bag changes under regular daily use. When a bag is full, an alert appears in the Ecovacs app, and the old bag is sealed, removed, and replaced: the design means the debris is contained throughout and the process stays clean.
