The Ecovacs Deebot X8 Omni is the first-generation OMNI robot in the Deebot X-series, built around the cylindrical OZMO Roller mop – a spinning roller that makes around 200 floor contacts a minute – paired with the ZeroTangle rubber main brush, whose V-shaped fins steer hair toward a central groove instead of the end-cap bearings. After each run its OMNI station flushes the roller with 75°C hot water, empties the dustbin and dries the roller with warm air. That platform sets a clear service rhythm: the antibacterial HEPA filter is rated for roughly 120 cumulative hours, about three to four months of once-daily cleaning, and should be rinsed in clean water only and fully air-dried; the OZMO Roller fibre wears in two to three months even though the station keeps it clean; the ZeroTangle brush runs six to twelve months provided you clear the hidden end-cap ring every week or two; the side brush bends over three to six months; and the sealed station dust bag is replaced on the dock prompt.
