The Ecovacs DEX86 is the internal OEM designation carried by the Deebot X2 Omni – it appears on the robot’s rating label and in warranty service documentation, so a machine badged DEX86 is the square-chassis X2 Omni and shares its 8,000 Pa suction, 200 mm rubber roller, OZMO Turbo counter-rotating chenille mop and 55°C hot-water Omni dock. Its consumables and intervals therefore match the named X2 Omni exactly. At 8,000 Pa the HEPA filter loads quickly, so it is tapped on all four sides every one to two weeks, rinsed with water only (no brush or finger on the pleated medium), dried completely before refitting and replaced about every 120 hours of cleaning, roughly every two to three months under daily use.
This maintenance set keeps each of those intervals supplied with Plus.Parts® components built as a direct-fit alternative to the original Ecovacs part: one main brush, four side brushes, six filters, two mop pads and four dustbags, seventeen parts in all. The 200 mm rubber roller is cleared of wound hair every one to two weeks, both end-cap bearing holes probed clean, and replaced every five to seven months – a roller that will not spin freely by hand after cleaning has compacted fibre at a bearing seat and needs more clearance before refitting. The counter-rotating chenille pads compact under spin pressure regardless of the heated wash, so they are inspected at eight weeks and replaced once the pile flattens, the pad feels stiff after a dock wash, or discolouration persists; a compacted pad redistributes water rather than scrubbing it, which is the maintenance origin of streaking.
The square chassis pushes the side brush deeper into corners than a round body, so bristle splay shows a little sooner – inspect it weekly, clear thread from the base post and replace every three to six months.
At a glance
- Matched to Your Device – The rubber roller, HEPA filters, chenille pads, side brushes and dock dustbags all fit the DEX86 / X2 Omni brush chamber, filter bay and OZMO mop deck, so each part seats without guesswork.
- Long-Lasting Components – A HEPA filter built for 8,000 Pa airflow, hard-wearing OZMO Turbo chenille pads and a 200 mm rubber roller that hold up across the robot’s full service schedule.
