The allergen-trapping design keeps fine dust and particles inside the bag rather than releasing them back into the air during extraction, which matters particularly in homes where allergy management is a factor. When the bag fills, extraction efficiency drops because the fan is working against the back pressure of a dense, compact load, and the dock may begin leaving a partial residue in the Roomba’s bin.
