The iRobot Roomba 551 shares its brush cage geometry, filter footprint and side-brush mounting with every other model in the 500-series range. Day-of-week scheduling is standard on this model, and retail boxes typically included a spare filter and brush set, making the 551 one of the better-maintained units in circulation among regular owners. What the factory bundle does not change is the maintenance schedule: inspect both brushes and their yellow end-cap bearings every one to two weeks, tap the filter clean after each session, and clear the side-brush post shaft of wrapped hair weekly to protect the motor. The 551’s pleated filter must never be rinsed: water permanently collapses the pleats regardless of drying time.
This kit contains Plus.Parts® components designed as a direct-fit alternative to the original iRobot consumables: a bristle brush, a flexible beater brush, a pleated fibre filter, a 3-arm side brush and yellow end-cap bearing components. All matched to the Roomba 551’s standard-bin configuration.
Components selected for quality that lasts across the full rated interval. The VacuumReviews.eu team is available with any question about your 551’s setup or your order.
