The iRobot Roomba i5158 is a retail variant of iRobot’s Roomba i5, a mid-range model in the i-series that combines structured mapping with the AeroForce rubber extractor system. Homes with pets or high foot traffic load the filter faster than light-use environments: pet dander, fine hair fragments, and the particles that settle out of daily foot traffic all end up in the filter media session by session. At high load, a standard-mesh filter saturates in half the time that a high-efficiency unit would, and once saturated it becomes a source of fine particles rather than a trap for them. The i5158 deserves a filter that keeps up with its workload rather than becoming a liability after a few weeks.
This set contains three Plus.Parts® spare filters, matched to the Roomba i5158’s filter bay. Each uses a higher-density media weave than standard-efficiency alternatives, holding its capture performance across the full replacement interval even under heavy daily use.
