The iRobot Roomba i8+ delivers the same intelligent cleaning capability as iRobot’s i7+ platform in a variant sold through select market channels. It uses iRobot’s AeroForce system for strong multi-surface suction and ships with the Clean Base auto-empty dock, which handles the collection side of cleaning automatically. After each run, the dock draws the robot’s bin contents into its internal bag, leaving the robot ready for the next cleaning session without manual intervention. The dock’s bag is what limits how long the system can operate hands-free: when it reaches capacity after around 30 auto-empty cycles, a fresh bag is all it takes to restore full function.
