The iRobot Roomba j5570 is the European market designation for the Roomba j5+, a j5-platform robot with Clean Base automatic bin-emptying capability. It combines PrecisionVision Navigation (real-time obstacle avoidance via a front-facing camera) with Imprint Smart Mapping for room-by-room schedules and automatic bin evacuation after each cleaning session. The AeroForce 3-stage system handles collection: side brushes, dual rubber extractors, and a filtered suction path to the bin. The high-efficiency filter captures fine particles that the extractor stage passes into the airstream and holds them until the filter is replaced.
Because the Clean Base empties the bin automatically, the j5570 can run continuous daily schedules with the filter accumulating fine dust over many consecutive runs. When the media reaches saturation, suction drops across the entire cleaning pass. Staying ahead of that degradation through regular replacement is the most effective single maintenance action.
