The iRobot Roomba Max 705 Vac + AutoEmpty Dock is the full flagship configuration of iRobot’s 2025 Vac platform: a cleaning head rated at 180 times the suction of a Roomba 600 series robot, a Dual Rubber anti-tangle brush pair, ClearView Pro LiDAR navigation with a PrecisionVision AI camera, and the matching AutoEmpty dock that seals debris in a 0.7-micron bag for up to 75 days of hands-free cleaning. The three subsystems interact: a loaded filter quietly drops effective suction, while a bag pushed past its rating stops the next auto-empty cycle completing, so keeping the consumables fresh is what keeps the platform performing as specified.
This set supplies those consumables as Plus.Parts® direct-fit alternatives to the original iRobot part: two Dual Rubber main brushes, three Edge-Sweeping side brushes, three high-efficiency filters and three 0.7-micron AutoEmpty dock bags, eleven parts in all. The rubber compound resists hair wrap along the roll itself, which misleads owners into skipping the brushes – but the end caps and axle hubs still bind with fibre, so clear both end caps with a toothpick every two weeks and replace the pair every six months (four to five in a heavy-shedding home). Tap all four sides of the filter firmly over a bin every one to two weeks and never rinse it – the HEPA-rated medium degrades once wetted – replacing it every three to six months; at the 180x tier the three-month end is realistic under daily use, and a shift from white to even mid-grey is the cue.
Inspect the three-pronged Edge-Sweeping brush weekly, clear hair from the post and mounting screw, and replace it every two to three months, sooner if a prong takes a permanent set and starts pushing debris inward. Replace the dock bag when the indicator lights – daily use in a pet or high-dust home fills one in four to six weeks rather than the full 75 days – and wipe the auto-empty port seal on top of the robot at the same time, since caked dust there is the usual reason a bin stays partly full after docking.
At a glance
- Matched to Your Device – The Dual Rubber main brushes, high-efficiency filters, Edge-Sweeping side brushes and 0.7-micron bags all fit the Max 705 Vac + AutoEmpty Dock brush bay, filter frame and dock, so each part seats without guesswork.
- Long-Lasting Components – Filters sized for the 180x airflow and sealed dock bags built to hold the 0.7-micron rating across their service life.
