The rubber main brush is central to the robot’s floor-level pickup: it channels debris into the suction path through its rolling action rather than sweeping it across the floor, which reduces scatter loss and improves collection on both hard and carpeted surfaces. The rubber construction is also inherently more hair-tolerant than bristle rollers, which means the E50 Pro Ultra runs through multiple sessions without the manual roller clearing that conventional designs require between uses. The limitation that applies across all rubber brush systems is compound degradation from use: the rubber stiffens progressively from heat and floor friction, reducing the contact area that the picking-up action depends on. The change is gradual and the brush does not look worn in the obvious way a bristle brush does, but the pickup result on carpet and textured tile starts to decline before the brush appears visually damaged.
