The HEPA filter sits in the mid-range airflow tier here, tapped firmly on all four sides every one to two weeks and replaced every four to six months – a consistent mid-grey discolouration across the filter face is the override signal regardless of the calendar. Because the Z5 dock does not wash the pad, the flat mop is hand-rinsed between runs or replaced on the shorter one-to-three-month interval typical of unwashed pads.
