The “+” designation means the auto-empty dock ships in the box, and its 2.5-litre self-sealing bag handles around seven weeks of daily debris collection before the dock prompts a replacement.
The auto-empty cycle works through the bag. Each time the robot docks, the motor draws the dustbin contents through the neck of the bag; when the bag is full, the dock seals it shut and signals a swap before the process locks out. A bag at capacity can no longer accept debris, so the robot’s bin stays full and the next session starts compromised.
