The Tefal X-Plorer Serie 95 Total Care RG7987WH is the white-finish Total Care variant of the Tefal Serie 95 line, raising maximum suction to 12,000 Pa in Boost mode. It ships with the three-pad kit comprising standard, Animal Scrub and anti-allergic electrostatic pads, and mops via the Aqua Force system that feeds water continuously from the onboard tank. The consumable kit is shared across all Serie 95 models regardless of brand or tier.

The water tank is the maintenance item owners defer longest on this model, and the consequence appears as an odour problem rather than a performance problem. Residual moisture inside the Aqua Force feed channel develops a biofilm within two to three days in warm ambient conditions. Once biofilm is established it transfers to the mop pad on the next session and produces a persistent damp smell that replacing the pad alone does not fully resolve. Empty the tank after every mop session and do not leave water sitting in the internal channel between runs. Rinse the tank with clean water weekly and leave it open-topped and upright to air-dry overnight. In active pet homes, where the Aqua Force pad picks up organic material that feeds biofilm faster, a fortnightly flush with a one-to-ten white vinegar and water solution left inside the tank for ten minutes and then rinsed through with clean water keeps the channel clear.

The 12,000 Pa Boost mode pulls the filter interval to every two months. Tap the HEPA edges weekly; replace immediately on even mid-grey. Inspect the main brush weekly, clear end-cap bearing holes and replace every six to eight months. Clear the side-brush posts weekly and swap every three to six months. Remove the mop pad after every run, rinse and air-dry; replace every two to three months. Empty the dust box after every run, rinse weekly. Wipe the camera window and cliff sensors weekly.
