Blaupunkt Bluebot XBOOST – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Blaupunkt Bluebot XBOOST is the consumer-facing name for the XBOOST chassis with the flat mop module fitted as standard. The Gyro+ navigation system uses a GPS chip and gyroscope together to plan and execute systematic, row-by-row coverage of the entire floor area in a single session, processing the full accumulated dust load from every mapped area on every run. All consumables are shared with the BPK-VCBB1XB, Bluebot XPRO and BPK-VCBB1XP, so every part in this set fits all four models without modification.

This set supplies Plus.Parts® direct-fit alternatives to the original Blaupunkt parts BPK-BHXB1 / BPK-BHXB2 / BPK-BHXB3: two main brushes, two side brushes, eight HEPA filters and two mop pads – 14 parts in all. The systematic Gyro+ coverage is the Bluebot XBOOST’s primary advantage, but it also means the HEPA 12 dual-filter system works at a consistent and relatively high throughput level on every session rather than across a partial pass. The primary pre-filter catches coarse debris; the inner HEPA 12 layer traps fine dust and allergens. At 1,800 Pa suction, the filter assembly builds loading at a predictable rate. Tap the outer pre-filter clean every one to two weeks to slow airflow restriction, and replace the complete filter assembly every two months. In pet-owning homes or consistently dusty environments, a monthly replacement cycle is more appropriate because the HEPA layer saturates faster under elevated particulate loads and cannot be restored by tapping alone once the fibre matrix is spent.

The standard 350 mL mop module means pad maintenance is an active daily task. Rinse the pad under running water after every session and air-dry completely before refitting. Replace every one to three months. Clear the V-shape brush roll every two weeks, giving particular attention to the hard-plastic end caps where compressed hair rings create friction on the brush motor bearings. Replace the brush roll every three to six months – hard-floor homes should lean toward three months, as the bristles contact abrasive grit on every pass. Replace side brushes every three to six months. Wipe cliff sensors every two to four weeks and dock contacts monthly.
