The dock automates post-run maintenance, dustbin emptying, mop washing, and water management, and the navigation adjusts routes session to session as the home layout changes. At the centre of each cleaning run is the main brush, which sweeps debris from the floor into the intake on every pass. Its rubber compound determines how effectively that transfer happens, and its condition sets the practical performance ceiling for the robot regardless of how capable the suction and navigation are.

The rubber compound wears gradually. Contact with hard floors and carpet causes the compound to stiffen over time, and the contact geometry drifts away from the intake profile it was manufactured to maintain. When that happens, the L30 Ultra S’s cleaning efficiency drops below its design standard even though the suction and navigation remain fully operational.
