The rubber brush format is effective across mixed flooring: it works on hard floors without scratching, flexes against carpet without tangling, and channels debris consistently into the suction path across both surface types. It is also one of the few components in the robot that cannot benefit from the dock’s automatic maintenance: the auto-empty function removes collected material from the bin, but the brush itself still needs regular inspection and rotation to stay within spec. The rubber compound softens gradually with use, and replacing on schedule is the straightforward fix before performance drops.
