The Dyson DC37c Allergy is a compact cylinder variant from Dyson’s DC37 range, configured for allergy households with an allergen-focused accessory set designed to remove fine dust, pollen, and allergens from carpets, upholstery, and hard floors. The DC37c body offers the same Root Cyclone separation core as the standard DC37 in a lower-profile chassis. The Dyson DC37c Allergy uses Dyson’s Root Cyclone separation system to spin incoming debris at high velocity, centrifugally separating large and medium particles from the airstream before they reach the filtration stage, limiting the fine-particle load that accumulates in the downstream pre-motor filter. The fine fraction that passes through cyclone separation, ultrafine dust, airborne particles, and microscopic debris, continues to the pre-motor HEPA filter, where the dense filter media captures these particles and keeps them clear of the motor. Over time, fine-particle build-up narrows the open media structure of the filter, increasing airflow resistance and reducing suction. Rinsing under cold water clears accumulated dust and restores airflow through the media. Allow at least 24 hours to dry completely before reinserting. When rinsing no longer recovers full airflow, a replacement filter returns the machine to specification.
