The Dyson SV50 FC is the Fluffy Cones configuration of the Dyson PencilVac platform, pairing the SV50’s ultra-slim form factor with a conical soft-roller head designed for efficient fine-dust pickup on hard floors. The FC head draws fine particles in on smooth surfaces where standard nozzles might miss them along edges, and the cyclone separation keeps the dust cup from restricting airflow. That cyclone performance depends on the pre-motor filter staying clean: as the filter loads, particles begin passing through into the cyclone housing, separation efficiency drops, and suction at the nozzle weakens faster than it would on a clean filter. On a machine as compact as the SV50 FC, this effect is more pronounced than on larger vacuums, because there is less airflow margin to absorb the restriction before performance drops noticeably. Dyson’s monthly filter wash recommendation is there to prevent this from happening.

This pack gives you what you need to keep that schedule without interruption. It contains four Plus.Parts® washable filters matched to the Dyson SV50 FC’s filter housing dimensions. Each filter installs directly in place of the original with no modification. The four-filter pack supports a rotation at a monthly wash interval: install a clean filter, wash the used one, and set it aside to air-dry completely before the next cycle. A filter reinstalled before it has dried fully does not seal as cleanly and wears faster under the airflow load.
