The Dyson V10 Animal is the pet-hair-focused variant in the V10 range, shipping with the motorised floor tool and an extended set of pet-specific attachments. The primary cleaning head uses a non-washable stiff-bristle brush bar; on this model, Dyson specifies checking the brush bar after every two to three cleaning sessions rather than fortnightly, as pet hair accumulates at the bearing ends more rapidly than on standard carpet use. The machine delivers up to 150 AW suction through a 14-cyclone array into a 0.76-litre bin, with a single HEPA-grade filter shared across all twenty named models in this series. As the V10-labelled market equivalent of the Cyclone V10 Animal, it carries the same maintenance scope and uses the same consumables.

This kit is a Plus.Parts® alternative to the original Dyson part , supplying 2 washable HEPA filters, a bin cover, an upper bin seal ring, quick-release buttons and a power button lock – 7 parts. The two filters support a run-and-wash rotation; the second filter goes in while the freshly washed one completes 24 hours of air-drying. The bin cover and upper seal ring target structural wear points prone to damage under heavy use; the quick-release buttons and power button lock complete the set. Under pet-hair use, washing the filter every two weeks rather than monthly is the practical minimum. Replace after approximately 12 months of use.
