Dyson V15 Detect Complete Extra – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Dyson V15 Detect Complete Extra adds an extended accessory bundle to the V15 Detect Complete, retaining the High Torque cleaner head, the Laser Slim Fluffy head and the piezo particle sensor that classifies floor debris in real time. The Hyperdymium motor produces up to 230 AW, and the filter part – – is common to every V15 model. A detail that matters for correct maintenance: V15 filters must be washed with warm running water, not cold. Dyson specifies warm water for V15 because the higher suction tier embeds fine particles more deeply into the filter medium; cold water, which is correct for V6 through V11 models, will clean the filter surface but leave embedded particulate in place, giving a false sense of restoration without fully recovering airflow. Wash monthly, fill the body, cover and shake until the rinse runs clear, then leave the filter upright for at least 24 hours before reinserting. Clear the High Torque brush bar end caps weekly; wipe the Laser Slim Fluffy lens with a dry cloth monthly.

This kit is a Plus.Parts® alternative to the original Dyson part , providing 2 washable HEPA filters, a dustbin lid, an upper bin seal ring with a Torx screwdriver, quick-release buttons (small and large) and a trigger lock. Two filters make the 24-hour post-wash air-dry invisible to the user: swap the washed filter out, fit the dry one, and continue cleaning without pause. The dustbin lid and upper bin seal ring are the bin-assembly components that most commonly reach the end of their service life while the motor remains sound; the Torx screwdriver needed for the seal ring is included. The trigger lock removes the need for continuous trigger grip during extended Auto or Eco-mode sessions. Replace both filters annually, or when warm washing no longer restores the medium to close to its original colour.
