The Ecovacs D-X1OM is a Deebot model that integrates a spinning mop system with its vacuum function, delivering a combined cleaning pass that handles both dry debris and floor residue in a single run. The mop component distributes water from the robot’s onboard tank and uses rotating pad pressure to loosen and lift the surface layer of residue that suction alone does not address. As with other Deebot models using this same mop architecture, the cleaning results on hard floors depend on the condition of the mop pads: fresh microfibre picks up moisture cleanly, while pads compressed from repeated wash cycles leave behind more than they absorb.
These four machine-washable replacement pads are designed to be laundered and reused, but the microfibre pile compresses with each wash-and-dry cycle, gradually reducing the surface contact and absorbency the mopping pass relies on. Once the pads no longer perform at their original level, typically after eight to twelve weeks under daily use, renewing the set restores the mopping quality the D-X1OM’s spinning pad system was built to maintain.
