The Ecovacs Deebot U3 Line Friends is a cosmetic special edition of the Deebot U3, co-branded with the LINE Friends characters and built on the same DK4G.11 platform as the standard model. Mechanically and electronically it is an ordinary U3: the 57 mm slim body, the brushless direct-inlet mouth with two side brushes doing all the sweeping, the Ozmo electronic water tank and room mapping are all unchanged. The one thing unique to this edition is the printed artwork on the top plate, which should only ever be wiped with a dry or lightly damp microfibre cloth – abrasive pads and solvent cleaners will lift the graphic.
The parts that actually wear are standard U3 consumables, and this set keeps them stocked. It holds Plus.Parts® components made as a direct-fit alternative to the original Ecovacs parts: four mirror-handed side brushes, two sponge pre-filters shielding two pleated HEPA filters, and five microfibre mop cloths. With debris going straight to the filters through the brushless inlet, the denser media here holds airflow longer between changes.
The side brushes are moulded to keep their shape rather than bending out of true, and the mop cloths hold their nap through repeated rinsing instead of matting early.
