The Ecovacs DDX14-12EDR brings the DDX14 mopping system together with Ecovacs’ drive-and-clean approach: the robot navigates the floor in a single automated session, vacuuming first and mopping behind. The mop pad is the component that turns a damp floor into a clean one, drawing water from the tank and releasing it across the surface as the robot moves. How well that works depends on the condition of the pad. Repeated runs without a wash let residue accumulate in the fibres.
