The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni applies the full OMNI station maintenance cycle to the X2’s square-chassis design, pairing direct-edge cleaning with automated pad care after every session. The OMNI station washes the mop pads at high temperature, uses hot air to dry them fully, empties the dustbin, and refills the clean-water reservoir, returning the robot to a clean, ready state before the next run. The OZMO Turbo 2.0 spinning mops distribute water through two circular pads rotating against the floor, maintaining consistent pressure and coverage during the cleaning pass.
The station’s wash cycle extends mop pad life compared with a robot that stores damp pads between sessions, but it cannot offset the gradual microfibre wear that accumulates over months of daily use. Once the pads flatten and the station’s hot wash can no longer restore pick-up performance, typically after eight to twelve weeks, they should be replaced to maintain the mopping quality the OZMO Turbo 2.0 system is designed to deliver. These four replacement pads fit the X2 Omni’s OZMO Turbo 2.0 plate directly. Available through Plus.Parts®, our specialist source for VacuumReviews products.
