The iRobot Roomba 531 uses the same dual counter-rotating brush system as every other 500-series model: a bristle brush paired with a flexible beater brush that work against each other to lift debris from carpet pile and sweep it into the intake. The yellow end-cap bearings at each brush end are the specific point where maintenance most commonly lapses on this platform. Hair and carpet fibre compress into the bearing cavity progressively until the brush cage can no longer turn freely, the cleaning-head motor draws elevated current, and a stall error appears. Weekly inspection and clearing of those cavities is the correct interval: not monthly, not when the error light shows.
This kit contains Plus.Parts® components designed as a direct-fit alternative to the original iRobot consumables: a bristle brush, a flexible beater brush, a pleated fibre filter, a 3-arm side brush and yellow end-cap bearing components. All matched to the Roomba 531’s standard-bin configuration, installing without modification.
Built to perform consistently across the full four-to-six-month brush cycle and two-to-three-month filter cycle. The VacuumReviews.eu team is available for any question about your order.
At a glance
- Direct-Fit Compatibility – Every component matches the Roomba 531’s standard-bin cleaning head geometry, fitting and seating exactly as the originals.
- Calibrated Replacement Pair – Bristle and beater brushes replaced as a matched set: replacing one without the other produces uneven pressure that accelerates wear on the new part.
- Responsive Support – Real people at VacuumReviews.eu, available for any question about your Roomba 531’s configuration or your order.
