The bristle brush on the iRobot Roomba 532 degrades faster than the rubber rollers fitted to later Roomba generations. Abrasion and UV exposure stiffen the bristles and compress the pile over four to six months of daily use, reducing the brush’s ability to agitate carpet fibres and lift debris into the intake. The flexible beater brush ages similarly: rubber vanes that feel firm and resistant to manual flex are already underperforming regardless of how the surface looks. Both brushes must be replaced as a matched pair; the counter-rotating geometry means one worn component immediately accelerates wear on the opposite side. Inspect both after each session if the robot has been left unserviced for an extended period, and replace at the first sign of matted or splayed bristles or stiff vanes.
This kit contains Plus.Parts® components as a direct-fit alternative to the original iRobot consumables: a bristle brush, a flexible beater brush, a pleated fibre filter, a 3-arm side brush and yellow end-cap bearing components. All matched to the Roomba 532’s standard-bin configuration. The pleated filter must be tapped clean after each session: washing collapses the pleats permanently.
Consistent performance across the full replacement interval. Contact the VacuumReviews.eu team with any question about your 532’s specific setup.
