Keeping the iRobot Roomba i2 performing consistently is less demanding than most people assume, and most of what it needs comes down to one component: the filter. The i2 runs iRobot’s dual rubber extractors on hard floors and carpet, with the high-efficiency filter catching the fine particles the extractors stir up before that air exits the robot. Over a typical daily schedule, fine dust, pollen, and pet dander accumulate in the filter media across several weeks. The robot does not flag when the filter is saturated: the only visible sign is that suction is lower than it should be, and by then the filter has been working against the motor for some time.
This kit contains three Plus.Parts® high-efficiency filters designed as a direct-fit alternative to the original iRobot parts for the i2. Each filter seats into the bin compartment without tools and matches the mounting geometry of the original, so installation is straightforward.
