The iRobot Roomba j9+ is iRobot’s premium j-series robot, designed for the most demanding home environments. PrecisionVision Navigation uses a front-facing camera to identify and avoid small floor obstacles in real time, cords, socks, shoes, pet toys, while Imprint Smart Mapping covers room-by-room cleaning on a defined schedule. The bundled Clean Base auto-empties the dustbin after each session, enabling the j9+ to run for weeks without the user touching it. Suction arrives through the AeroForce 3-stage system: side brushes, dual rubber extractors, and a filtered path to the bin. The high-efficiency filter at the end of that path intercepts fine dust and allergens that the extractors pass into the airstream.
At the frequency the j9+ is designed to operate, daily runs, automatic empties, extended autonomous schedules, filter media loads at a corresponding rate.
