The Roborock Q7 BF+ is the auto-empty edition of the refreshed Q7 BF, combining 8,000 Pa suction and a rubber-finned main brush with a dock that removes bin-emptying from the daily routine. The rubber-finned roller moves pet hair and coarse debris efficiently without the wrapping common on earlier Q7 bristle brushes, and the dock transfers what the robot collects into a self-sealing bag after every session. With a bag capacity of around seven weeks, the hands-free cleaning cycle extends well past the daily maintenance an older robot without a dock would need.
Keeping the dock running reliably means keeping the bag fresh. The dock seals the bag at the neck before alerting for a replacement when it reaches capacity, but a full bag blocks the transfer, leaving the dustbin uncleared for the next run. The robot will clean as normal, but the bin stays full and each new session adds to the backlog.
