Side brushes sweep incoming debris toward the main brush channel and wear progressively at the tips, narrowing the edge coverage with each month of regular use. The main brush collects that debris into the suction airflow and loses effectiveness as bristles flatten and shed. The filter captures fine particles from that airflow and restricts it as its media fills. Replacing all three together restores the full system at once and avoids carrying a mixed wear state into the next maintenance cycle.
