The Roborock S8P51-01 is a regional configuration in the S8 Pro lineup. The S8 Pro builds on the standard S8 with the VibraRise 2.0 sonic mop system and the broader S8-generation improvements, and its auto-empty dock uses Roborock’s sealed bag format. When the robot returns to base, the dock activates a suction burst that transfers debris from the robot’s dustbin into the sealed bag inside the station’s collection chamber.
The bag’s purpose is to make the collection process clean and contained. Debris stays in the sealed bag through the emptying cycle and through disposal. Running the dock without a spare bag on hand is the only way to break the hands-free loop.
