The dock handles three maintenance tasks autonomously: emptying the robot’s dustbin into a sealed collection bag, washing the mop pads after mopping sessions, and refilling the robot’s water reservoir before the next run. Among these, the auto-empty function is the one that needs the most regular material input: the dust bag fills over time and needs changing when the station flags it full.
The rest of the system operates without consumables on a daily basis; the bag is the one item that depletes with regular use. Each bag fits the dock’s inlet and housing, holding securely through the suction cycle that drives debris from the robot’s bin into the bag.
