The Roborock S9 MaxV Slim is a robot vacuum and mop from Roborock’s S-series, combining strong suction performance with a slim chassis for cleaning under low-clearance furniture. It includes MaxV camera-based obstacle avoidance and a gravity mopping system that presses reusable mop pads against hard floor surfaces during each cleaning session. The mop pad attaches to the robot’s underside plate and contacts the floor to apply moisture and friction, lifting everyday grime and residue from hard floors.

The reusable mop pads are removed and washed after use to maintain hygiene and mopping effectiveness. Over time and with repeated washing, the microfibre surface texture compresses and the pad loses the absorption and friction it had when new. When the pad texture and absorption are reduced, the mopping result on hard floors diminishes even though the machine continues operating normally. Replacing the pads at the right interval restores the floor contact and cleaning result the S9 MaxV Slim was built to deliver.
