The reusable mop pads are washed after cleaning sessions to maintain performance and hygiene. Over time and with repeated washing, the microfibre surface texture compresses, scrubbing friction decreases, and absorption capacity falls as the weave packs down. When the pads are worn, the mopping mechanism continues running but the result on hard floors is reduced; fitting fresh pads restores the floor contact and mopping performance the S10 MaxV Slim was built for.
