Rowenta X-Plorer Serie 75 S+ RR8585WH – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Rowenta X-Plorer Serie 75 S+ RR8585WH is the white finish of the entry configuration in the Serie 75 S+ range. It runs 360° LDS laser mapping from a rotating dome on top of the robot, a high-airflow BLDC suction motor, a controlled-moisture Aqua Force mop, and a Suction Station dock that empties the robot’s 0.26-litre bin into a sealed bag on every return to base. All six Serie 75 S+ variants are mechanically identical, so this set fits each one without modification.

This set covers the full service scope with Plus.Parts® direct-fit alternatives to the original Rowenta parts: two main brush rolls, four side brushes, eight filters, four Suction Station dustbags and four mop cloths – 22 parts in all. The dock bag is the one item this platform adds over the camera-navigated Serie 95, and it is the one owners most often misjudge. Rowenta rates the bag for about 60 days, but its full indicator is volume-based: compacted fibrous content throttles airflow through the transfer port before the sensor ever registers full. Replace the bag on a fixed eight-week calendar rather than on the indicator – six weeks in a pet home – because a bag left past its window aborts the auto-empty mid-transfer and the robot then starts its next run with a partly filled bin.

Tap the sponge pre-filter and pleated HEPA element over a bin weekly; rinse only the sponge in cool water and air-dry it fully, and never wash the HEPA, since water permanently disrupts its pleat geometry – replace both every two to three months, or at once if the face shows an even mid-grey tone. Inspect the full-width main brush weekly and clear hair from both end-cap bearing housings with a toothpick, the hidden spot where a faint first-minute drag noise starts; replace the roll every six to eight months, sooner with pets. Clear the side-brush posts weekly and replace the pair every three to six months. Remove and rinse the mop pad after every run and air-dry it to keep biofilm odour out, replacing it every two to three months. Empty the water tank after each mop run and rinse it weekly.
