The Dyson DC37c Allergy Complete runs Root Cyclone separation, a high-velocity rotational system that spins incoming air and debris to centrifugally separate large and medium particles before the airstream reaches the filtration stage, reducing the fine-particle load that the pre-motor filter must handle. The fine fraction that passes through the cyclone array, ultrafine dust, airborne pollen, shed skin cells, and microscopic allergens, continues to the pre-motor HEPA filter, where the dense filter media intercepts these particles and prevents them from reaching the motor. As fine-particle build-up accumulates in the filter media over cleaning sessions, airflow restriction increases and suction at the floor tool gradually declines. Rinsing the filter under cold water removes built-up dust from the media, restoring open airflow; allow a full 24 hours of drying before refitting the filter.
