The Dyson SV14 is Dyson’s internal platform code for a V11 generation unit distributed in specific regional markets; machines marked SV14 are mechanically identical to the Dyson V11 in every maintenance respect and follow the same service intervals without modification. The platform delivers 185 AW suction in Boost mode through the Hyperdymium motor, with the High Torque cleaner head as the primary floor tool. Hair on the High Torque brush bar migrates toward the end caps during use; the end cap covers remove without tools and should be cleared weekly in any household with long hair or pets. A single HEPA-grade filter is shared across all fifteen V11 variants.
This kit is a Plus.Parts® alternative to the original Dyson part , supplying 2 washable HEPA filters, a bin cover, an upper bin seal ring, quick-release buttons and a power button lock – 7 parts. The two filters support a run-and-wash rotation; one filter remains in service while the other completes its 24-hour air-dry after washing. Wash the filter monthly with cold running water until it runs clear — cold water is mandatory for all V11 variants; warm or hot water degrades the filter medium and is the most common source of avoidable motor damage on this generation. Never refit damp. Replace after approximately 12 months of normal use.
