Dyson SV46 – Plus.Parts® Spare Filter Set

The Dyson SV46 is a regional Slim configuration within the V12 family, sharing the 150 air-watt motor platform with every variant in the range. As a Slim variant rather than a Detect Slim, it does not carry the piezo acoustic sensor or the LCD filter wash alert that Detect Slim models use to prompt maintenance. The same monthly filter wash interval applies, but owners of the SV46 need to follow that schedule on their own timetable rather than in response to a machine-generated alert. When the post-motor HEPA filter carries enough compacted dust to reduce airflow below the threshold the motor protection circuit tolerates, the machine begins pulsing, which is a thermal protection response to restricted airflow, not a standard operating mode. The V12 platform’s small bin volume, which Dyson specifies must not exceed the MAX fill line, adds a second maintenance consideration: overfilling the bin increases the rate at which fine dust reaches the filter and accelerates restriction.

This set of three Plus.Parts® washable HEPA filters gives the SV46 a three-filter rotation that removes the downtime barrier from the monthly service routine.
