The Dyson V11 Complete centres on the High Torque cleaner head and uses the Hyperdymium motor to deliver 185 AW in Boost mode. The filter part – – is shared across every V11 model, and the washing method is critical: all V11 models require cold running water. This is not interchangeable with the warm-water instruction on the later V15 generation. Wash monthly under cold running water, fill the filter body, cover both ends and shake firmly to release embedded fine particles, then leave the filter upright for a minimum of 24 hours before reinserting. Operating the machine with a wet or damp filter causes irreversible motor bearing damage. The High Torque brush bar end caps should be checked weekly; press the release tab, lift the covers away, and pull out any hair or thread that has migrated toward the bearing journals. Hair wound tightly into the journals is best cut through with scissors before lifting, to avoid cracking the end cap tab.
This kit is a Plus.Parts® alternative to the original Dyson part , containing 2 washable HEPA filters, a dustbin lid, an upper bin seal ring with a Torx screwdriver, quick-release buttons (small and large) and a trigger lock. Stocking two filters means the freshly washed filter can complete its 24-hour air-dry while the second filter keeps the V11 Complete operational. The dustbin lid and upper bin seal ring are the components most likely to reach the end of their service life before the motor or wand; the seal ring Torx removal tool is included in the kit. The trigger lock removes the need to hold the trigger during extended carpet sessions or whole-room passes in Eco mode. Replace filters annually, or when a thorough cold wash fails to return them close to their original colour.
