The Dyson V11 Total Clean brings together the High Torque cleaner head and an accessory suite designed to cover every floor type, running at up to 185 AW through the Hyperdymium motor. Its maintenance profile is identical to all other V11 High Torque models: filter part, washed monthly with cold running water, followed by a minimum 24-hour upright air-dry before the filter returns to the machine. This cold-water requirement is specific to the V11 platform – the V15 generation that followed uses warm water – and using the wrong temperature consistently leaves fine particles embedded in the filter medium that gradually restrict airflow and drop measured suction below the rated figure. The High Torque brush bar end caps should be opened weekly to clear any hair that has wrapped around the roller and migrated toward the bearing ends; hair that is wound tightly at the journals is easier to remove cleanly when cut through with scissors before lifting, rather than pulled directly.
This kit is a Plus.Parts® alternative to the original Dyson part , supplying 2 washable HEPA filters, a dustbin lid, an upper bin seal ring with a Torx screwdriver, quick-release buttons (small and large) and a trigger lock. With two filters included, the monthly wash routine does not require any machine downtime: wash one filter, let it dry for 24 hours, and keep the V11 Total Clean running on the second filter throughout. The dustbin lid and bin seal ring are the structural bin components most likely to degrade or crack before other assemblies; both are included, along with the Torx screwdriver the seal ring removal requires. The trigger lock allows hands-free extended use without sustained grip on the trigger. Replace both filters once a year or when washing under cold water no longer returns the filter to near-white.
