The Dyson V12 Origin is the entry-point V12 cordless vacuum, a V12 platform machine offering the core Hyperdymium motor and whole-machine HEPA filtration at the accessible end of the V12 range. Like all V12 platform machines, the V12 Origin seals its entire airpath through whole-machine HEPA, routing all exhaust air through the HEPA filter at the machine’s exit before returning it to the room. The HEPA filter captures fine particles at the final stage of the airpath after each cleaning pass; as particulate accumulates on the filter media over repeated sessions, resistance in the airpath increases and the effective suction the motor can produce falls. Routine filter care for the V12 Origin consists of rinsing the HEPA filter under cold tap water only, hot water and detergent should not be used, and allowing it to air-dry for a minimum of 24 hours before the machine is run again.
This Plus.Parts® washable HEPA filter is a direct-fit replacement for the Dyson V12 Origin. The filter is built to the original Dyson V12 Origin HEPA filter’s dimensions and sealing geometry, fitting the machine’s filter housing at the exhaust point without modification. Washing the filter regularly and replacing it at the recommended service interval is the routine maintenance that keeps the V12 Origin’s whole-machine HEPA filtration system working at its designed specification.
HEPA filter media matched to the V12 Origin’s whole-machine filtration specification. Our team covers the full Dyson V-series range and is available for any compatibility or order question.
