Dyson V15 Detect – Plus.Parts® Washable HEPA Filter

Dyson V15 Detect spare parts

The V15 Detect pairs Dyson’s piezo particle sensor with 230 air watts of Hyperdymium suction, but the sensor’s accuracy is directly tied to filter cleanliness. A partially loaded filter reduces airflow below the threshold the sensor needs to count particles correctly, making filter maintenance more than a performance concern. This washable H11 HEPA filter is sized for the V15 Detect’s post-motor housing and built for warm-water washing, the V15-specific requirement that fully releases particles embedded by 230 air watts of throughput.

The Dyson V15 Detect brought particle-sensing technology to Dyson’s cordless range, pairing 230 air watts with a piezo acoustic sensor inside the High Torque cleaner head that counts debris by particle size in real time. On the LCD screen, that data appears as a live floor-condition reading across four particle categories. There is a maintenance implication that is less obvious but important: the sensor uses airflow velocity as a reference when it counts. When the post-motor filter loads with fine particulate and restricts overall airflow, the sensor’s reference drops below its operating threshold: the particle count displayed becomes an underestimate of what the floor holds, and the machine can indicate a clean result when airflow, not floor cleanliness, is the real variable. Washing the filter on the monthly warm-water schedule restores airflow to the level the sensor needs. The warm-water specification is specific to the V15 generation. Cold water is correct for V11 models but does not release fine particulate embedded by 230 air watts in V15 operation. A filter washed only in cold water after V15-level use will look clean but retain embedded particles that restrict airflow sooner between subsequent washes. The 24-hour air-dry after every warm wash is mandatory: internal moisture not fully dissipated before reinsertion reaches the motor path and causes irreversible damage.

This Plus.Parts® washable H11 HEPA filter is a direct-fit replacement for the original Dyson component in the V15 Detect. It matches the post-motor housing, requires no modification, and follows the warm-water washing procedure the V15 generation uses.

H11-rated filter medium built to maintain airflow and capture consistency through a full replacement interval of warm-water washing cycles in daily V15 Detect use. A team is reachable for compatibility queries, order details, or anything else you need answered directly.

    Sensor-ready filtration

    • Inspected Before Shipping – Each filter is checked before dispatch to confirm direct-fit compatibility with the V15 Detect post-motor housing.
    • Built to Last – H11 medium designed to hold airflow at the level the piezo particle sensor needs across the full recommended replacement interval.
    • Reliable Quality – Filter materials built to perform through repeated warm-water washing cycles without degrading airflow or H11 capture consistency.
