At 230 air watts, the Hyperdymium motor drives fine particulate deeper into the filter medium per session than the V11’s 185 air watts does. Cold water, correct for V11 models, removes surface dust but leaves embedded finer particles in place. Warm water releases them fully, restoring the filter closer to new rather than cleaning only the outer layer. The 24-hour air-dry after every wash is a hard requirement: a filter that feels surface-dry at 12 hours may still carry internal moisture, and inserting a wet filter sends that moisture toward the motor bearings, damage that falls outside standard service coverage. The Laser Slim Fluffy lens accumulates dust at floor level and should be wiped monthly with a dry cloth to keep the green laser beam effective at illuminating fine dust.
