Dyson V8 Carbon Fiber – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The Dyson V8 Carbon Fiber is a hard-floor specialist configuration in the V8 range, delivering 115 AW suction with up to 40 minutes of runtime. Its primary cleaner head uses a soft roller with carbon-fibre anti-static filaments woven into the surface; these filaments attract and capture fine dust particles from smooth hard floors that a standard nylon brush bar would scatter. The carbon-fibre roller surface is not machine-washable: it is tapped out monthly to clear debris and the surface is wiped with a lightly damp cloth when visibly soiled. The pre-motor filter and post-motor HEPA filter follow the standard V8 maintenance schedule of monthly cold-water washing and a confirmed 24-hour upright air-dry. When the carbon-fibre filaments become visibly matted or broken after extended use, the roller head should be replaced rather than deep-washed.

This kit is a Plus.Parts® alternative to the original Dyson parts /, supplying 2 matched pairs of washable HEPA filters (4 filters in total), a bin cover and quick-release buttons (small and large). The two filter pairs support a continuous run-and-wash rotation: one pair stays in the machine while the other completes its mandatory 24-hour air-dry after washing. The bin cover replaces the wear-prone lid that cracks under repeated point-and-shoot emptying; the quick-release buttons – supplied in both small and large sizes – restore the snap-fit that holds attachments securely during use. Wash both filters cold-water only, rubbing firmly until the rinse water runs clear, then leave them upright in a well-ventilated area for a full 24 hours before refitting. Never use heat, detergent or a washing machine. Replace both filters after approximately 12 months of normal use, or sooner if repeated washing no longer restores visible whiteness.
