Ecovacs released the Deebot T50 Omni Gen2 as a second-generation update to the T50 Omni, improving obstacle detection and route efficiency while carrying forward the same core cleaning hardware. The mopping system is OZMO Turbo 2.0: two circular pads rotate against the floor in parallel, distributing water evenly and applying consistent scrubbing pressure across the cleaning pass. The OMNI station paired with the Gen2 washes pads at high temperature after each session, dries them with hot air, empties the dustbin, and refills the water tank automatically. The Gen2 designation covers the navigation improvements only; the mop pad format, plate dimensions, and station wash protocol are identical to the first-generation model.
Mop pads should be replaced when the microfibre surface no longer pulls moisture off hard floors cleanly, or when the station wash cycle leaves visible wear patterns in the fabric. Under daily use this typically occurs after eight to twelve weeks.
