iRobot Roomba 776 (PET) – Plus.Parts® Maintenance Set

The iRobot Roomba 776 (PET) is the last NiMH-powered model in the 700 series and the final pet-designated mid-tier variant. It is mechanically identical to the Roomba 774 and 775 (PET), carrying the 7-day scheduler, optical bin sensors, and the Virtual Wall Lighthouse. The consumable maintenance set is the same across all sixteen named 700-series models.

This set covers Plus.Parts® direct-fit alternatives to the original iRobot parts: a set of main brushes, 3 side brushes, 6 HEPA-style filters and 2 cleaning tools – 13 parts in all. Every subsystem on the 700-series platform loads the next when a consumable passes its service interval. A filter that has shifted to a consistent mid-grey raises the airflow resistance across the AeroVac bin, causing the brush motor to draw more current to maintain speed. The drive controller occasionally interprets that elevated current as an obstacle, producing spurious spiral behaviour that is actually a filter symptom. A brush pair with fibre-compacted yellow bearings drives the same spiral behaviour from a different direction. A dusty cliff sensor stops the robot mid-cycle on floor it has crossed dozens of times before. On the 776 (PET) and every other mid-tier model, a filmed optical bin sensor terminates each cleaning cycle early and keeps real floor coverage consistently below what the robot is capable of. Staying on interval across the complete consumable set keeps every subsystem inside the operating range iRobot designed it for. The 776 (PET) runs on the 14.4 V NiMH pack with an eighteen-to-twenty-four-month replacement window. A unit running below thirty-five minutes on a full charge is approaching end of battery capacity, but address all consumable causes first – a loaded filter or compacted bearings shorten apparent run time independently of battery age.

Behind the set is a real team at VacuumReviews.eu, so if multiple symptoms appear together, contact us and we can help trace the cascade back to the single consumable that triggered it.

At a glance

• Matched to Your Device – Every part is dimensioned for the iRobot Roomba 776 (PET) chassis, fitting the same mounting points as the iRobot originals.
• Long-Lasting Components – 13 parts cover the full consumable scope, preventing the cross-loading cascade that builds when any single component is overdue.
• Responsive Support – VacuumReviews.eu can help diagnose multi-symptom issues and isolate the root consumable cause.
